Some of the music Eduardo listened to growing up ranged from Led Zeppelin to Claude Debussy to Naná Vasconcelos, to Steve Reich

This is a performance of Naná playing with Pat Metheny and this is a performance of Hermeto Pascoal playing the accordion as well as another with him playing keyboards.

Eduardo brings up the composer Colnon Nancarrow and his studies for player piano. This is an example of some of that music he created. 

Quincy Jones and several other greats studied with the late French composer, Nadia Boulanger.
